Jenn and Corley both showed amazing potential in commercial photography and were very interested to learn as much as they could during their time here. Im sure Jasmine was great to. The end of this month will be the end of their work term with us. Corley will be headed back to Medicine Hat College and as for Jenn and Jasmine, once they are done with their work term with us they are graduating. Good luck to you guys! MAN! Who’s gonna carry my gear and move lights around when they are gone?! Greg Im lookin in your direction. You will be missed ladies!

One of the coolest clients ever, Look Matters was honoured to design a book for the Queen. The RCMP selected Look Matters to create a commemorative book that celebrates the 40 year relationship between the RCMP and the Queen in photographs. The book was presented to the Queen at the July 1st celebrations in Ottawa, by the Commissioner of the RCMP, William J.S. Elliott.

The whole Look Matters and GJ Photo office made it out to the Relay for Life on Friday night,
and had a blast! Rain and mud couldn't damper any spirits, as over a thousand people took
part in the events.

On May 24 2010, I had my second chase-cation of the year in South Dakota. A surging warm front vs a swift moving cold front mean trouble on the prairies. On my solo trip through the Dakotas I witnessed 6 tornadoes, five of which are posted in here. The sixth was an intense encounter where I was stopped in my tracks on the highway and forced backwards as a rope tornado dropped from the clouds directly in front of me, about 150 meters away. It quickly went back up into the clouds and then re-emerged in the field to my left. I was solo so getting out of a dangerous situation was more important than taking photos. It was by far my best chase day and I now have some beautiful images that I will keep and share forever. For information on storm chasing or to join me on a chase please contact me at the office. 306 757 4686 – Greg Johnson

We had fun shooting some photos for the Delta Hotel. They have an awesome lobby and cafe area, which we shot some photos of. They also had some new changes done to the suites, which they wanted to show off.

We shot photos of the Safeway crew, as they built a new play structure at Camp Easter Seals. It was a great day, everyone was very enthusiastic and excited as the structure went up.

Shoot Props- Photos of Brin Werret from Rockstar Homes taken by David Sampson at GJ Photo in
Regina SK
I had a couple lighting ideas I was just trying out in the studio yesterday, and one of them looked really cool. We immediately thought of Brin for this shoot. We will be doing a lot more with Brin in the near future to deckout his new website with cool Rockstar-ish photos. Check out his site here www.rockstarhomes.ca

Paul Chesters is a country singer & song writer from Regina who needed some promotional photos taken. I took him out near the town of Craven, and ended up with something like this!
