Gotta be honest here guys. I was sweating this one a little bit. And not because I didn’t think I could do it but because this is the very first wedding I shot for GJPhoto on my own. It was just me shooting and Jenn helping with lights. And with all the worrying I managed to get some pretty decent shots I think. Ya and the super hot couple and the perfect sunset and the thin layer of smoke that gave every picture abit of a dreamy look had nothing to do with it. Anyway. Enjoy! Congrats Toni and Sean and thanks for being my guinee pigs!

I challenge you! To find a wedding that was more fun than Cara Weber and Jay Saums wedding. This one had everything! Pinatas, Fireworks, Monster Trucks you name it! With all of that it even produced some of our favorite wedding portraits to date! I am now spoiled for weddings. Unless someone can have a cooler one. CHALLENGE! Good luck this one was a doosey. Congrats you guys!

Greg Johnson is a man of many talents and passions, one of which has grown steadily in the past 11 years is his fascination with weather. An avid amateur storm chaser, Greg will pack up on a minutes notice and head south of the border into tornado alley for a weekend of hair-raising chases and stunning photography. Greg was recently featured on the front page of the Leader-Post’s Weekender section. Read the article, The Thrill of the Chase.

This post for their engagement photos is a little late seeing as how we just shot there wedding 2 days ago. Ha! Ohhhhh well. Better late then never I always say. Actually I never say that but you get it. Cara and Jay were incredibly nice people. And you have to give them some points for putting up with me making them sit in dirt and things like that. I had alot of fun doing these photos for them! Oh and PS they had one of the coolest weddings to date. packed full of Pinatas and fireworks so stay tuned for those photos!

FINALLY!!!! We got some decent interns for a change. This time we got 3 lovely ladies. Corley and Jenn were our photography students and Jasmine was our design student for the summer. Jenn and Corley both showed amazing potential in commercial photography and were very interested to learn as much as they could during their time here. Im sure Jasmine was great to. The end of this month will be the end of their work term with us. Corley will be headed back to Medicine Hat College and as for Jenn and Jasmine, once they are done with their work term with us they are graduating. Good luck to you guys! MAN! Who’s gonna carry my gear and move lights around when they are gone?! Greg Im lookin in your direction. You will be missed ladies!

Regina Inn hired us to do the photography for their new “Vic’s Break House” central
break concept. The idea is to offer people a central location to get up and out of their
meeting room for some food and drink during their breaks. The design of the room is
really unique and Vic’s Break House will have a large selection of food and drink
options that would not otherwise be offered in the different meeting rooms at the
Regina Inn. Pretty cool Idea.

Shoot Props – Nikki and Taylor’s wedding shot with Nikon D3 and Canon 5D Mark II in Moose Jaw SK on February 27, 2010 by Greg Johnson and David Sampson
This was a fun one! Even though it was insanely cold outside, the bride and groom couldn’t have been
better sports and the wedding party couldn’t have been cooler. We ended up with lots of great shots to work with.

Shoot Props-Photos of Cara Bandorf taken by Kiriako Iatridis with a Canon 5D Mark2 in Regina Saskatchewan
Here are some awesome photos from a maternity shoot Kiri and I did last week. They turned out really cool. My legs still haven’t recovered from that wheat field. Shorts were a bad idea.
