FINALLY!!!! We got some decent interns for a change. This time we got 3 lovely ladies. Corley and Jenn were our photography students and Jasmine was our design student for the summer. Jenn and Corley both showed amazing potential in commercial photography and were very interested to learn as much as they could during their time here. Im sure Jasmine was great to. The end of this month will be the end of their work term with us. Corley will be headed back to Medicine Hat College and as for Jenn and Jasmine, once they are done with their work term with us they are graduating. Good luck to you guys! MAN! Who’s gonna carry my gear and move lights around when they are gone?! Greg Im lookin in your direction. You will be missed ladies!

Yesterday the fine people over at Don’s Photo let us borrow a Canon Tilt Shift Lens to try out. Its pretty cool! In some cases it gives a miniature model look. We liked it so much we considered buying one. That is until we saw the crazy price tag. We found it hard to justify spending $2,500 on a lens we werent going to use on a regular basis. So we went looking for a less costly alternative. What we came across was the Lens Baby Composer tilt shift lens. Again, the good folks at Don’s came through for us . I think its pretty safe to say(atleast in the photography world)you get what you pay for. Ill let you be the judge.

If you could only see past the stylishly dark and highly reflective sunglasses (which are a mandatory part of Kiriakos photo editing) you would see the eyes of a focused, determined artist. Just putting his personal touches on a photo he snapped for Dutch Industries. Even without his spiky fohawk and purple designer scarf, Kiriako is a photoshop guru. I am pretty sure without them his photos would be missing that little special something.

I know Nikons are built pretty tough but this one didnt stand a chance against the road. It was probably more the fall than the road.
